Job summary

BAC is seeking a Brazer/Operator to assemble coil units. You will Braze copper components using single- and dual-tip oxy-fuel torches, read blueprints, and ensure joints meet quality standards within a safe working environment.

The role requires basic math, tool familiarity, and vigilance in following standard work while supporting overall production goals and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Six months of brazing/welding experience with oxy-fuel torches.
• Ability to read blueprints and dimensional drawings.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawings.
• Braze copper components using oxy-fuel torches and braze alloy.
• Guide torch and rod to heat and bond parts.
• Clean joints and re-braze as needed.
• Examine joints and correct defects; connect hoses to regulators.
• Select torch tips and alloys from data charts; use measurement tools.
• Operate safely, maintain 5S in the area; meet daily goals.
• Flex to other areas as needed; perform other duties.
