Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift to build components per blueprints and work instructions. You will use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and prepare products for shipment. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.

The role requires reading and following diagrams in English, along with basic computer skills for software systems. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform visual checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or further processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
