Job summary

Rittal LLC is seeking an Assembler for the 3rd shift in Urbana, OH. You will assemble components per instructions, use hand/power tools, and ensure quality through visual checks.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and participate in continuous improvement with the team. The role requires basic English reading, physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing/assembly experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic mechanical skills.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform visual checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or further processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
