Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Shuttle Buggy Operator to support paving operations. You will safely operate a Shuttle Buggy, transfer asphalt mix, and coordinate with paver operators and truck drivers to maintain continuous material flow.

Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance reporting, and strict adherence to safety policies, DOT and OSHA standards. Travel to multiple job sites may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience operating Shuttle Buggy/MTV strongly preferred.
• Experience in asphalt paving or road construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Shuttle Buggy during asphalt paving operations.
• Transfer asphalt mix from haul trucks to the paver while maintaining continuous material flow.
• Coordinate with paver operators, truck drivers, foremen, and crews to ensure efficient production.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and maintenance reporting.
• Follow all safety policies, DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and project requirements.
• Travel to various job sites within the assigned region may be required.
