Job summary

ACMoate Industries Inc. in Oregon is seeking an experienced Asphalt Screed Operator to join our paving crew. You will operate the screed on the paving machine to deliver a smooth, level asphalt surface that meets project specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Asphalt Screed Operator.
Ability to read and interpret project plans and specs.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Operate the screed on the asphalt paving machine to lay asphalt to the desired width and depth.
Monitor the temperature and flow of asphalt to ensure a uniform surface.
Adjust screed settings to achieve specified grades and slopes.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the screed and paving machine.
Work collaboratively with the paving crew to ensure efficient and quality work.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with the project manager and other crew members.
