Job summary

SVS Vision is seeking an early-career Production Operator to fabricate eyewear in a fast-paced optical lab. You will perform coating, mounting, and finishing steps with attention to detail and quality, under the guidance of the Production Manager - Coating.

Candidates should be able to read and write at a high school level, work in a team, and adapt to a dynamic environment with safe work practices and efficiency in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; optical experience a plus.
• Ability to learn and perform production-related functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operate optical manufacturing equipment with precision.
• Fabricate, assemble, treat and handle lenses through various processes.
• Mount and secure lenses in holding tools or chucks of machines.
• Control coating processes and ensure proper drying times.
• Inspect lenses for flaws and coating quality.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow lab policies.
