Job summary

Walman Optical seeks a Sr Production Technician to manage the Anti-Reflective coating process and operate large-capacity AR coating machines. You will inspect lenses, document defects, and ensure coatings meet customer specifications with strict safety and quality controls.

The role requires at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position supporting high-volume production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to multi-task, maintain detail, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate large-capacity AR coating machines and perform maintenance.
• Inspect lenses for accuracy, log defects, and ensure quality.
• Load lenses, select recipes, and manage chemical processes for AR coatings.
• Perform parts changes and routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality testing and final inspection to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment with supervisor and document activities.
