Job summary

VIRTEX in Minnesota is seeking an AOI Operator to ensure assemblies meet specifications before processing or shipment. You will perform automated optical inspection in production mode and support quality objectives.

The role requires reporting nonconformances, maintaining records, and collaborating with production leads. Proficiency with reading blueprints and documentation, and strong attention to detail are essential. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• US Citizenship or green card required due to ITAR.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, or 6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated AOI inspection of assemblies in production mode.
• Perform equipment non-routine and weekly/monthly preventative maintenance.
• Stop production when nonconformances are noted and report immediately.
• Record AOI daily run information with accurate records.
• Keep rejected products segregated from accepted.
• Read and comprehend customer blueprints and related documentation.
