Job summary

Element Solutions Inc is seeking an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Engineer to program, operate and maintain AOI equipment across multiple sites. You will analyze inspection results, optimize detection parameters, and collaborate with process engineers and production staff to improve yield and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in AOI or related roles, strong programming and machine vision skills, and up to 25% travel internationally to manufacturing and R&D sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in AOI or related inspection roles, preferably electronics manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AOI systems and programming, image processing software, and machine vision technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AOI systems from concept through manufacturing transfer.
• Program and operate AOI machines to detect defects.
• Adjust inspection parameters to improve accuracy and throughput.
• Troubleshoot AOI equipment to minimize downtime.
• Prepare inspection results and reports for quality and production teams.
