Job summary

Branch Medical Group, a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc., seeks a Production Assistant to support the Anodizing department. You will visually inspect parts, assist with anodizing steps, and work with the team to ensure correct processing before assembly and shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must stand for extended periods.
• Able to work around chemicals safely.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic.
• Work under the directions of the production supervisor.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Pass an eye exam including color vision.
• Willingness to wear PPE regularly (safety goggles, gloves, respirator).
• Experience with plating or finishing is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-starter.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Anodizes, electro-polishes, ultrasonic cleaning and passivation of parts.
• Rack and un-rack the parts.
• Dries off parts with compressed air.
• Unpacks and packs finished products.
• Visually inspects own work.
• Verifies incoming/outgoing product counts.
• Follows blueprints, travelers, SOPs.
• General maintenance of processing lines.
• General housekeeping of shop area.
• Adheres to Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Completes training to maintain compliance.
• Represents the company professionally in interactions.
