Job summary

Torrey Holistics, a shop specializing in custom welding and fabrication, seeks an experienced Welder/Fabricator to handle non-repetitive projects from start to finish. You will read prints, fit parts, and MIG weld across carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless, with TIG as needed.

This role requires strong layout skills and independent work on evolving jobs. You will measure, fabricate from blueprints, grind as required, and ensure welds meet specs while maintaining a clean, safe, organized shop

Qualifications

• Proven job shop welding/fabrication experience.
• Not a production-only welder; able to handle custom jobs.
• Able to read prints and weld symbols without assistance.
• Comfortable with evolving jobs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless; TIG when needed.
• Fit, tack, weld and finish custom non-repetitive assemblies.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols; verify parts throughout the job.
• Measure, layout, and fabricate from prints; grind welds to spec.
• Maintain weld quality, cleanliness, and shop safety.

This is a job shop welding and fabrication position — NOT a production welding role. We fabricate custom, one-off and short-run sheet metal and structural components.
