Job summary

Men's Wearhouse is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to provide high-quality clothing alterations, measurements, fittings and garment repairs. You will work closely with a retail team to deliver a perfect fit and exceptional customer experience, maintaining organization and efficiency in the tailor shop.

The role requires strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while upholding company standards across store locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong sewing and alteration abilities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using sewing machines, presses and tools with precision.
• Excellent time management to complete alterations within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform standard alterations (pant hems, waist/seat adjustments, sleeves, seams) per guidelines.
• Maintain an average of 60 minutes productive alteration work per hour.
• Ensure garments meet high quality standards with clean finishes and secure stitching.
• Press garments for a clean, crisp finish and tag completed work for pickup.
• Assist with inventory and support front-of-house duties as needed.
• Collaborate with team, share tailoring knowledge, and uphold company standards.
