Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at our Johnstown, NY area service centers. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

You will perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, tire maintenance and other repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in tire mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs.
• Perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.
