Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a Lackawanna, NY center. You will use state-of-the-art equipment to align tires and wheels and perform routine automotive services.

You will inspect vehicles, adjust alignment angles, and contribute to a safe driving experience while benefiting from on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent
• State inspection license preferred
• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Use latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true
• Complete state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive service
