Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Alignment Technician or successful completion of a relevant automotive repair/alignment program.
• Proficient with automotive repair tools and equipment including wheel alignment racks, tire changers, wheel balancers, hydraulic jacks, and basic welding/testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Aligns wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms using alignment equipment and manufacturer specifications.
• Drives vehicles onto alignment racks and tests to identify issues like faulty alignments, bent axles, worn ball joints, and damaged steering components.
• Performs necessary repair and adjustment work based on diagnostic findings.
• Mounts and dismounts tires; balances wheels and installs counterweights for smooth operation.
• Conducts diagnostics and service work including state inspections, shock absorber installation, lubrication, and basic tune-ups.
• Straightens vehicle frames using hydraulic jacks, chassis aligners, and related equipment.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and adheres to safety standards.
