Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Alignment Technician or completion of an applicable post-secondary program in automotive repair or alignment.
• Proficient with automotive repair tools and equipment, including wheel alignment racks, tire changers, wheel balancers, hydraulic jacks, and basic welding/testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Aligns wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms using alignment equipment and manufacturer specifications.
• Drives vehicles onto alignment racks and tests for issues like faulty alignments, bent axles, worn ball joints, and damaged steering components.
• Performs repairs and adjustments based on diagnostic findings.
• Mounts/dismounts tires, balances wheels, and installs counterweights for smooth operation.
• Conducts vehicle inspections and general service work as needed.
