Job summary

Axius Group seeks an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to support modification, repair, fabrication, and installation on special-mission aircraft. You will work with drawings, riveting, and structural assemblies to ensure modifications meet Avcon and FAA standards.

The role requires reading blueprints and maintenance manuals, performing precise sheet metal work, and maintaining strict safety and quality controls in a shop or hangar setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of aircraft sheet metal, maintenance, or modification experience.
• A&P license preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, installation manuals, and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Remove and document locations of equipment before modification.
• Read and follow aircraft drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Perform riveting, sheet metal fabrication, modification, repair, and installation.
• Install, maintain, modify, and rework structural assemblies and sheet metal components.
• Inspect completed work for quality and FAA compliance.
