Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC. is seeking a production associate in Tooele, UT to disassemble parts and assemble components in a production setting. The role requires reading work orders, following blueprints and quality standards, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

You will participate in 5S, document daily tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement while being flexible to move between work areas and work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences and to read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, production routers, product manuals, and/or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks.
• Understand and comply with all ISO 9001 requirements.
• Effectively uses a variety of hand tools to assemble components with precision and maintain high-quality standards.
• Complete all required daily paperwork and update production boards.
• Perform 5S audits and complete daily checklists.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing process improvement suggestions.
