Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Tooele, UT, is seeking a production assembler to disassemble parts and assemble components per work instructions and quality standards. You will read work orders, use hand tools, and complete daily paperwork while upholding ISO 9001 requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math skills for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, production routers, product manuals, and/or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks.
• Understand and comply with all ISO 9001 requirements.
• Effectively uses a variety of hand tools to assemble components with precision and maintain high-quality standards.
• Complete all required daily paperwork and update production boards.
• Perform 5S audits and complete daily checklists.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing process improvement suggestions.
• Use daily discomfort logs and report any sickness or injury, regardless of severity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily housekeeping responsibilities.
• Be flexible and willing to move to different work areas based on production needs.
• Be available to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
• Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one-on-one communications.
