Job summary

Van-Wall-Equipment,-Inc. is seeking a Precision Technology Specialist to consult, train, and support John Deere Integrated Solutions and other precision farming technologies across our dealership network in Perry, IA.

You will help mainstream Precision Ag across all departments and serve as the technical expert for precision farming products. The role emphasizes advisory work, solution selling, and collaboration with customers and third-party providers, with about 50% travel to store locations

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Agronomy, Agriculture Business or Agriculture Technology preferred; Associates acceptable or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years in an agriculture-related role.
• Dealership sales, service, training, or related work experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systems.
• Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify customer needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the dealership's Integrated Solutions strategy across Machine Optimization, Logistics Optimization, and Ag Precision Support.
• Develops and executes plans for ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming across all dealership departments.
• Leads in John Deere precision farming products and services within the organization.
• Ensures understanding of Integrated Solutions and precision farming across sales, service, parts, and other departments.
• Serves as internal and external technical specialist for precision farming products.
• Implements adoption of new technology and product offerings.
• Delivers training for John Deere Integrated solutions and precision farming products.
• Provides solutions-based business consulting to customers to optimize performance and reduce costs.
