Job summary

Riesterer & Schnell is seeking a data agronomist to drive sales and support for data management services, working with John Deere systems and customer data to inform economic and agronomic decisions.

The role requires experience with precision ag data/software, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain CCA credentials. Typical hours are Mon–Fri, with travel up to 50%. Wage range starts at $60,000–$85,000 annually depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving history.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with precision ag software and data.
• Willing to obtain CCA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and marketing plan for data management services.
• Follow up on leads for data management services.
• Support analysis of machine data for customers.
• Promote John Deere Operations Center and JDLink as data hub.
• Review daily in-season data; identify issues and coordinate corrections.
• Understand John Deere Greenstar Displays for data collection.
• Evaluate data management software to offer customers.
• Assist customers with data cleanup for quality analysis.
• Prepare reports to help customers understand their data.
• Coach customers on the value of their data.
• Maintain safety and a clean work area.
• Attend meetings and training; present a professional image.
