Nooney Controls Corporation is seeking an assembler to join our valve automation team. You will assemble automated valve assemblies, read engineering drawings, and perform precision measurements to ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role requires use of hand and power tools, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures. You will work in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on customization and quality, and may be required to work overtime or weekends to meet production

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to interpret safety rules, drawings, procedures.
• Able to use dial calipers, micrometers, dial indicators.

Aufgaben

• Assemble new automated valve assemblies (ball, gate, butterfly valves, etc.).
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Maintain an organized workspace and document quality inspections.
• Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, drawings/prints, and diagrams.
• Perform measurements with dial calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Pressure and leak test valves to standards; ensure compliance with requirements.
