Job summary

Skyeton is seeking a Cable Harness Technician to build and inspect electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies for Skyeton unmanned aerial systems and ground-support equipment. You will follow engineering drawings, bill of materials, and work instructions to ensure precise, traceable assemblies with strong documentation discipline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year building, assembling, repairing, or inspecting cable harnesses or related precision assemblies.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Proficient use of wire strippers, crimpers, soldering gear, torque tools, and related test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies per drawings and travelers.
• Measure, cut, strip, label, route, terminate, crimp, solder, and shield wires and cables.
• Install connectors, backshells, heat-shrink tubing, sleeving, and other harness components.
• Perform in-process and final inspections for pin location, routing, and configuration accuracy.
• Conduct electrical tests using multimeters and harness testers; document results.
