Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Assembly & Test Operator II in Glendale, AZ to perform routine assembling/testing, deburr, and final product detailing under direct guidance in a team environment.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, ensuring calibration, recording test results, and potential weld operations, while maintaining safety and quality standards. HS diploma required with 1-3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
• Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
• Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Responsibilities

• Hand deburr as required.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
• Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
• Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
• Record test results on data forms.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
• May be required to run automatic weld machine.
• Perform other related responsibilities.
