Job summary

Nikon AM Synergy Inc. in Long Beach, CA, is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician to support hands-on fabrication of flight hardware. You will operate, calibrate, and maintain AM equipment, manage powder handling, and ensure traceability and regulatory compliance under ITAR.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, readiness for flexible schedules, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status compliant with ITAR.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes, materials, and QC standards.
• Proficiency with MS SharePoint and MS Office.
• U.S. Citizenship required; eligible for DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate additive machines (EOS M290/M4K, SLM 280/NXG) and perform setup and calibration.
• Handle powder safely, including sieving, sampling, loading, and cleaning.
• Inspect parts and ensure traceability of powder and components.
• Document procedures and results; support manufacturing process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize solutions.
