Job summary

Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a Full-Time Precise Time Network Administrator to support our customers at USNO, Washington DC.

The role is hybrid on-site at USNO with responsibility for administering, updating, patching, and reporting on enterprise network devices, including ASA firewalls and Firepower platforms, to maintain ATO for PT applications. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, CCNP certification (Security+ desired), and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ASA firewalls, Firepower devices, and Firepower Threat Defense experience in enterprise network management.
• CCNP certification is required.
• Security+ certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and modernize network devices controlled by the PT department.
• Update, patch, scan, and report on all network devices to sustain Authority to Operate (ATO) for PT applications.
• Manage network equipment lifecycle, inventory, and sparing; coordinate with stakeholders to minimize operational impact.
