Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer (Firewall/IPS) with Active Top Secret clearance for a full-time role in Washington, DC. The candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, firewall rules, and IPS strategies across federal networks with tight security controls.

The position requires 10+ years IT experience, Cisco ISE/Firepower/FTD expertise, 802.1X deployment, DMVPN/ADVPN, and CCNP-level knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement information security.
• Analyze requirements and feasibility for solutions.
• Design and maintain firewall/IPS rule structures.
• Monitor and maintain health of firewalls/IPS and propose improvements.
• Develop and maintain firewall/IPS documentation and schematics.
• Research and implement new network security technologies.
• Provide support to network engineers under supervision.
