Job summary

Wells is seeking a Quality Technician to perform inspections, tests, and quality checks across the production process for precast concrete products. You will ensure all items meet PCI, company, and project specifications prior to shipment and maintain documentation accordingly.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and collaborate with production, engineering, and QC to resolve quality issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality control experience in heavy industrial, concrete, or construction environments.
• ACI or PCI certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour, post-pour, and final inspections on precast concrete products.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials, equipment, or test results to QC leadership.
• Ensure products meet PCI, company, and project specifications prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate quality control documentation in compliance with required standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and project specifications.
• Use testing tools and equipment such as slump cones, air meters, scales, ovens, and sieves.
• Conduct accurate measurements using tape measures and other precision tools.
• Perform basic material testing and analysis to support quality assurance processes.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas while following all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and QC teams to resolve quality issues.
