Job summary

Wells seeks a Quality Control Technician I to perform inspections, testing, and documentation ensuring precast concrete products meet PCI standards and project specs. You will support QA throughout the production process, including pre-pour, post-pour, and material testing activities, working closely with production to identify issues and maintain safe, high-quality outcomes.

Salary information indicates $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with strong accuracy in measurements and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret test results and production drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour inspections including dimensions and form quality.
• Conduct post-pour inspections of precast concrete products.
• Perform wet and hardened concrete testing (slump, temperature, air content, unit weight, cylinder strength).
• Prepare and test concrete specimens to verify strength requirements.
• Maintain quality control records and documentation.
• Identify and communicate quality issues to production teams for resolution.
