Job summary

Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a Lead Quality Control Technician for the 3rd shift (8 PM – 6:30 AM) in Hillsboro, TX.

You will lead the quality team, inspect and test products for PCI and design-spec conformance, and ensure safety and accuracy across QC processes. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of precast concrete experience, ACI/PCI certification, and a hands-on leadership style focused on reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience with precast concrete.
• ACI/PCI certification or in process of obtaining.
• Strong leadership and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Perform pre- and post-pour inspections for quality.
• Conduct material testing (wet and hardened concrete).
• Prepare and test concrete specimens and analyze cylinder breaks.
• Lead or support team coordination and continuous improvement.
