Job summary

SCN BestCo in Tennessee seeks a batch operator to read and follow batch records, dispense ingredients, and maintain GMP compliance. You will log data, monitor hygiene, operate scan tools, and ensure accurate records.

This role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a focus on precise material handling and collaboration with the Quality department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of precision-focused experience.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and wear safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow batch records to mix and dispense ingredients.
• Maintain lot number integrity for all ingredients.
• Record all required information on batch records.
• Maintain a daily cleaning log.
• Operate scan guns to verify materials and move containers.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping of the room and equipment.
• Calculate raw materials needed for ingredients.
• Coordinate with Quality to ensure proper batch records.
• Control inventory through requisition and usage inputs.
• Communicate with department supervision to determine needs.
• Follow cGMP rules during daily functions.
• Perform mathematical calculations to meet specifications.
