Job summary

Materion is seeking a position involving chemical refining of precious scrap in accordance with established procedures. You will care for and maintain refinery equipment and ensure safe handling of chemicals, receive and store chemicals from deliveries, and replenish emptied containers.

Includes monitoring pollution control equipment to ensure compliance with air and water discharge regulations; export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology (ITAR/EAR).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred background in chemical processing.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical refining of precious scrap in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Care for and maintain refinery equipment and ensure safe handling of chemicals.
• Safely receive and store chemicals from deliveries and replenish emptied containers.
