Job summary

Materion is seeking a position involving chemical refining of precious scrap in accordance with established procedures. You will care for and maintain refinery equipment and ensure safe handling of chemicals, receive and store chemicals from deliveries, and replenish emptied containers.

Includes monitoring pollution control equipment to ensure compliance with air and water discharge regulations; export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology (ITAR/EAR).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred background in chemical processing.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage procedures.

Pay Range

$22.00 - $31.00 per hour (actual base salary varies based on factors such as skill, experience, education, location, and internal peer comparisons).

Export Compliance

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent upon export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology, which falls under ITAR and EAR. The candidate selected must qualify as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee or refugee, a national of a non-prohibited country (via letter of assurance), or a person approved for an export license.
