Job summary

Fabcon in Grandville, MI is seeking a permanent full-time Yard Labor worker for the 1st shift (5:00 am start). Starting wage is $20/hour. Responsibilities include preparing yard, aiding crane operations, loading/staging panels, and maintaining accurate yard records.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Must communicate effectively in a busy industrial environment.
• Able to carry out complex verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize yard for panel movement and storage.
• Direct crane operators and assist with locating panels.
• Load and stage panels for transportation and check dunnage.
• Inspect panels and equipment and complete daily truck checks.
• Maintain yard records of panel moves, locations, and cast numbers.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and organized.
