Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a Concrete Finisher for our Grandville, MI facility to perform wet finish work on precast concrete products. Shift starts at 10:00 am and runs to completion, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily finishing operations, ensuring surface quality, inspecting finished products, and collaborating with production supervisors to meet schedules, while maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions in a busy industrial environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow complex verbal instructions and work with others.

Salary Range:

$21-$26/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily wet finishing operations for precast concrete components.
• Ensure surfaces are finished to required smoothness, texture, and quality specifications.
• Inspect and verify quality of finished products, addressing defects or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to meet production schedules and prioritize workflow.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting daily production goals.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions with little to no climate control and regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, vibrations, varying lighting conditions, stairs, and narrow walkways.
• Requires the ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs., walk, climb, bend, reach, use hand tools with force, maintain spatial awareness and depth perception, and communicate effectively in a busy industrial environment.
• Ability to carry out complex verbal instructions.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
