Job summary

Tindall Corporation is seeking an experienced field operations leader to oversee subcontractors and crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role covers projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and parts of Georgia and Tennessee, with regular travel required. A college degree or equivalent experience, plus OSHA 10/30 certifications and PCI Field Auditor credentials, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership and strong project management skills for field operations.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, crews, and schedules.
• Ability to establish and monitor budgets, costs, and delivery dates.
• Familiarity with safety, quality rules and processes on job sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork across functions to achieve objectives.
• Willingness to travel regionally to job sites across NC/SC/GA/TN.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains manufacturing operations plans including labor hours, production costs, and delivery.
• Sets production and quality standards; budgets and cost controls; tracks product details and delivery dates.
• Guides erection process planning including personnel, materials, subcontracting, and equipment needs.
• Coordinates field service activities with all functions to optimize resources and outputs.
• Reviews reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs.
• Performs administrative tasks for field operations, including data organization for reports.

Summary of Primary Functions

Manages and directs subcontractors and employees to complete a project in accordance with the plans or blueprints while ensuring that the project is completed safely, defect free, on time, and within the budget.

This position supports projects throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and parts of Georgia and Tennessee. Regular travel within the assigned territory is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

• Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.

• Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.

• Provides guidance to the development of the erection process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tolling and equipment needs.

• Coordinates erection and field service activities with all other functions of the organization and supplies to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

• Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

• Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of field operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.

• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.

• Plans for and schedules sub-contractors.

• Provides input in research and development of new and emerging products.

• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.

• Provides input to the development of strategic plan of erection division.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

OSHA 10 Hr and OSHA 30 hr Certifications; PCI Field Auditor.

Education

College Degree (4 year) preferred or equivalent experience is required.

Experience

5 to 7 (+) years prior or related experience in precast, concrete, construction industry is preferred.

Supervisory Experience

3 to 5 (+) years is required.

Travel Required

This position is primarily a field position with minimal office time; Employee will travel daily to job sites and occasionally will have to travel out of town for job sites.
