Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a Design Engineer Intern to support the engineering design of precast concrete products under guidance from experienced engineers. You will assist with reviewing documents, developing designs, and performing basic calculations to understand wind, snow, and concrete loads, while learning Fabcon’s design standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Foundational coursework in structural analysis, concrete design, steel design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering tasks on assigned projects under supervision.
• Review drawings and specs to understand scope.
• Develop efficient precast designs following Fabcon standards.
• Perform basic engineering calculations with guidance.
• Support drafting and production drawings delivery.
• Participate in project meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
• Learn precast design, manufacturing, erection practices.
