Job summary

Wells in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Project Checker to ensure accuracy and quality of drawings, materials, and documentation. You will review erection drawings for dimensional accuracy and compliance with project documents and specifications, and verify details across engineering standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of precast or related construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience Revit detailing/modeling.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and shop drawings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to review detailed drawings and visualize production/erection processes.
• Knowledge of precast products, systems, and applications.
• Ability to identify issues and support practical solutions.
• Comfortable working across teams to resolve project discrepancies.
• Adaptability to process improvements and evolving standards.

Responsibilities

• Review erection drawings for dimensional accuracy and compliance with construction documents and specifications.
• Verify application of project details, engineering standards, and company procedures.
• Check material takeoffs and production material sheets for accuracy.
• Review erection/site material sheets for conformance to design and drawings.
• Validate pour tickets for accuracy, formatting, and clarity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve non-conformances efficiently.
• Support quality assurance throughout the drafting and production process.
• Assist with special projects and additional assigned tasks.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to drafting team members.
