Job summary

County Prestress & Precast in Westmont, IL is seeking a Project Checker (Precast Concrete) to review erection drawings, piece tickets and production documents to ensure alignment with contract requirements and production schedules.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Coordinators and Schedulers to maintain constructability, identify discrepancies early, and support timely fabrication and erection. Knowledge of LecWall is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in precast concrete drafting, detailing, or checking.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and precast systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Knowledge of LecWall systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review erection drawings and piece tickets for accuracy and approvals.
• Verify contracts, estimates, drawings, specifications, and addenda for scope.
• Identify opportunities to improve constructability and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Coordinators, and Schedulers to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams throughout drawing development to resolve issues.
