Job summary

CDA Precast LLC is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our heavy equipment in the field. You will work independently to keep diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and fleet vehicles running safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have 2–5+ years diesel experience, strong hydraulic skills, the ability to read service manuals, and be prepared to provide their own tools. CDL is a plus; outdoor work in all seasons is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience (required).
• Experience working on heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and similar machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, hydraulic schematics, and repair documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required).
• Must provide your own professional-grade tools.
• Ability to work safely and effectively outdoors in all seasons.

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires:

• Standing and walking throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Frequent use of hand and power tools.
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Working in ALL weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Good vision and hearing to safely perform mechanical repairs.
