Job summary

Fabcon in Pleasanton, KS is seeking a Production Laborer to support the manufacturing of high-quality precast concrete products. This permanent full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with potential overtime opportunities and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will set up production beds, read blueprints, monitor casting, and operate forklifts, skid steers, and other machinery. You’ll also perform finishing work and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret blueprints for blockouts and layouts.
• Comfort with operating forklifts, skid steers, and production equipment.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and stay safe in a busy plant.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving heavy materials as needed.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up precast concrete beds using drawings, layouts, and steel plates.
• Read blueprints to install blockouts and ensure product specs.
• Monitor concrete placement and casting to maintain quality.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other production machinery.
• Assist with equipment setup for casting, finishing, and production.
• Perform finishing work like grinding and surface prep.
• Rig and move finished products with clamps and lifting gear.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area to meet goals.
