Job summary

Shea Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a Production Foreman in Amesbury, MA to lead a precast concrete production team and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role reports to the Nottingham Production Manager and requires coordinating training, scheduling, and performance development to sustain productivity and product quality. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in precast production, knowledge of quality and safety standards, and strong ability to read blueprints and communicate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in precast production manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• Understanding of computer skills, including MS Word & Excel.
• Read blueprints, sketches and follow oral instructions.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions.
• Ability to communicate concise instructions professionally.
• Ability to stay focused in a busy environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead the production team to meet schedules.
• Coordinate training of production staff and manage productivity safely.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to set priorities and schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement to lower costs and increase efficiency.
• Maintain records of activities, evaluations, and attendance.
• Motivate staff and mentor teams to achieve results.
