Thompson Pipe Group – Pressure in South Beloit, IL is hiring a Precast Concrete Production Associate to help manufacture and finish concrete pipe for community infrastructure. You’ll start early, finish early, and work with hand and power tools in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

No experience is required—we’ll train you. Union benefits, retirement contributions, a sign-on bonus, and overtime make this a strong entry into the manufacturing trades.

Precast Concrete Production AssociateStep into a hands-on role with Thompson Pipe Group – Pressure in South Beloit, IL, where you help build concrete pipe that keeps communities moving. You’ll start early, finish early, and see the impact of your work every day.A day in your bootsYou’ll manufacture and finish concrete pipe, tie rebar, and perform patching, grinding, and surface finishing. You’ll handle both hand and power tools and move materials around the yard. It’s physical, fast-paced work—hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and not air conditioned. You’ll regularly lift 35+ pounds, wear a hard hat, ear protection, and steel-toe boots (we reimburse half the cost for up to two pairs each year), and we provide rain and winter gear.Pay that grows quickly$17.31/hour to start$18.71/hour after 30 days$20.11/hour after 60 days$21.51/hour after 90 days — the full Laborer rate set by contract (no review required)Additional $2.16 per hour contributed to your retirement after 30 working days (about $4,500/year). You pay nothing.Overtime: 1.5x after 8 hours in a day (not just after 40 in a week)Double time on Sundays and holidaysSign-on Bonus: $100 after 30 days, $200 at 60 days, and $300 at 90 daysMost laborers work 15–17 hours of overtime weekly. At $21.51/hour, that overtime plus retirement contributions can total about $76,000–$80,000 per year; during your first 90 days it’s about $62,000–$65,000 annualized. Overtime depends on production and isn’t guaranteed.ScheduleMonday–Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. With typical overtime, that’s about a 50-hour week, plus some Saturdays.
