Poeppelman Materials is seeking a Production Operator to operate and maintain equipment for precast concrete components, ensuring products meet specifications and deadlines. The role involves reading drawings, setting up molds, pouring and finishing concrete, and maintaining safety standards on the production floor.

The position requires familiarity with concrete materials, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast concrete production or related manufacturing background.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of concrete materials, properties and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery for precast concrete products (mixers, molds, cranes).
• Read blueprints and specs to ensure correct production.
• Prepare and set up molds and forms per project requirements.
• Pour, smooth and finish concrete to specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for consistent quality.
• Inspect products for safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
