The position requires PA RN license, BLS, and preferably 1 year in a clinical specialty; professional education or certifications by specialty may be required.

Qualifications

• PA Registered Nurse License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Multistate compact RN license required or eligible

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under physician supervision.
• Uses the nursing process and collaborates with patient and family, and health care team to individualize care.
• Directs nursing support staff in providing patient care according to standards and policies.
• Professional education or specialty certifications may be required by area.
