Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an RN Pool Nurse for Perioperative/PreAdmission Testing on a per diem basis in Philadelphia, PA. The RN assesses, implements, and evaluates patient care under physician direction and coordinates with families and the health care team.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, PA RN license, BLS, and ability to work rotating shifts. Prior perioperative or preadmission testing experience preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• PA Registered Nurse license and BLS are required or multi-state RN license.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under physician direction.
• Collaborates with patients, families, peers, and health care team to individualize care.
• Directs nursing support staff in provision of patient care according to standards and policies.
