Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Defiance, Ohio is seeking a Lab Technician to set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments. The role involves preparing chemical solutions, obtaining samples for tests, and performing annual testing for customers.

You will clean and calibrate equipment, fill out regulatory test reports, and ensure proper labeling of hazardous waste drums, while following safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge & use of electrostatic applications/powder coating processes/wet spray applications.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
