Job summary

Arrowstreet Capital is seeking an experienced leader in the Investment Services Group to provide high-quality portfolio and client data within Arrowstreet’s quantitative investment process. You will oversee a team delivering critical investment initiatives, monitor outsourced middle-office performance, and guide strategic direction across data and operational workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance concentration preferred.
• Approximately 5 to 10 years’ professional experience; asset management industry experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience working in environments undergoing AI transformation, with a focus on continuous process improvement.
• Keen interest in learning or using tools such as Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage people, processes, and risk effectively.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals responsible for critical workflows supporting our daily investment process.
• Assess risks on a regular basis and identify and deliver enhancements to our operating effectiveness.
• Oversee and manage critical investment initiatives from inception through implementation.
• Identify business requirements for software projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and execute new and improved business workflows related to updates in investment processes.
• Implement automated and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, scalability and quality of workflows.
• Develop strong relationships with client relationship management, investment processes group and portfolio management teams to add value.
• Monitor and manage the outsourced middle-office, brokers and custodians to ensure quality of operations.
• Oversee portfolio holdings data quality and reconciliation processes; resolve complex portfolio accounting issues.
• Manage futures and prime broker margin and cash management workflows; monitor time-sensitive analysis and cash balances.
