Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of cloud services experience (AWS, GCP, Azure), AWS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of databases and data manipulation languages and platforms (SQL, Iceberg, Spark, Pandas/Polars).
• Proven track record of scalable, production-grade systems and automation.
• Hands-on experience with deployment and testing automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a team environment.

Weleveragetechnology to automate business processes using a combination of custom developmentsolutionsand packaged platforms. The team providesmission criticalcapabilities to our business users, offering solutionsessential to the firm’s ability to deliver sustained alpha and meet our fiduciary commitment to ourinvestors. We manage hundreds of portfolios for institutional clients in many geographies. Given our systematic investment process and the size of our investable universe, the need for scalable and performant systems is critical, as is a high degree of automation to accurately manage the broad spectrum of benchmarks, instruments, holdings and reference entities that feed our trading cycle. The ideal candidate is anaccomplishedanddriven engineer with experience buildingcomplex systems using modern platforms. Responsibilities

Engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategy, articulate technology options, evaluate tradeoffs, and influence key decisions. Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members and leading projects. Build new functionality and enhancements to systems currently supporting our systematic investment process. Develop a strong understanding of the flow of our investment data andidentifyopportunities for greater automation, performanceenhancementsand increased resiliency. Accelerate the migration of older systems to modern, cloud-native platforms thatleveragemoderncomputeand data models (e.g., containerization, serverless), anddrive the adoption, design,and implementation of cloud-native technology solutions. Automate the software development,testingand deployment life cycle forinvestment process applications. Support production escalations with urgency.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+yearsprofessional experience in software engineering. Minimum 5+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), with AWS preferred. Strong knowledge of databases and datamanipulationlanguages and platforms (SQL,Iceberg,Spark, Pandas/Polars, etc.). Proventrack recordofadoption,designand implementationofscalable solutions. Hands‑on experience building and supporting mission‑critical production systems. Demonstrated drive to take ownership and initiative in a complex technical role. Good debuggingand problem‑solvingskills; knowledge of automated testing. Focus on delivering value with persistent effortsto improvebusinessprocesses through greater system performance and resilience. Outstandingcommunication,organization,and collaboration. Experiencebuilding solutions in theasset managementorfinancial services industry is a plus.

Salary and compensation

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $325,000 per year. Arrowstreet Capital operates a robust talent acquisition program, and we also seek to compensate and reward our employees competitively within our industry and in line with our merit‑based culture.Our approach to total compensation includes base salaries and annual discretionary bonuses, as well as a robust benefits package. The determination of a successful candidate’s base salary placement within the listed range will vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications (which may also include relevant certifications, credentials and other education), the job responsibilities and scope, the commensurate resulting level of the position and other relevant factors.
