Job summary

1103 Team Member Services is seeking a part-time perioperative RN in Florida to conduct pre-surgical assessments, determine nursing needs, and coordinate care across the care team. The role emphasizes aseptic technique, patient education, and safe administration of medications in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Required qualifications include an Associate of Nursing (RN) with preferred Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of surgical services experience, and active RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally in English and in written form with persons of varied backgrounds.
• Ability to learn and apply computer-related applications and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of perioperative nursing roles and AORN guidelines.
• Willingness to lead, teach, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive pre-surgical assessments including vital signs and medical history.
• Performs assessments and determines nursing needs of assigned patients.
• Maintains aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes and ensures quality measures are met.
• Educates patients and families about medications, effects, and side effects.
• Administers treatments and medications safely using appropriate technology.
